whipped cream liar

I hate it when the guy at McDonald's acts like I'm lying when I say I don't want whipped cream. He asks, "You, don't want whipped cream?" but his eyes say, "You know you want this whipped cream".

a debt i owe

I am indebted to all those who lay down their lives on the field of battle to protect the rights that I often take for granted. I don't say that be flippant but to remind myself that the freedoms, I so blithely enjoy are not free.

to new beginnings
